Bev Jessup is a creativity and faith mentor, speaker, and founder of The Creative Sanctuary—a gentle, soul-nourishing online membership where women reconnect with God through journaling, art, and reflection.
After over 30 years as a speech and language therapist, Bev experienced deep personal burnout while juggling her private practice, family responsibilities, and supporting a loved one through severe mental health challenges. During a season of intense grief and exhaustion—following the loss of her father and her husband’s health scare—she discovered the healing power of art journaling. What began as a simple way to cope became a sacred pathway back to God, peace, and purpose.
Bev now guides other women through similar journeys of reset and renewal using faith-infused creative practices. Her approach is rooted in honesty, grace, and the belief that everyone is creative—even if they’ve been told otherwise. Through watercolours, collage, visual prayer, and Scripture-based journaling, she helps women create space for reflection, healing, and transformation.
Inside her membership, Bev offers monthly workshops, guided devotionals, meditations, and a nurturing community of women who are done with striving and ready to rediscover their God-given identity through creativity.
Bev lives on the Isle of Wight with her husband and has three grown sons. She also hosts retreats and shares her reflections through blog posts, videos, and podcasts.
