Zoe Watts and the EndEyeCheck Campaign
Zoe Watts is the cover subject of DWC Magazine Issue 92. After her husband drugged and raped her throughout their eighteen-year marriage, she made the decision to waive her anonymity. She is one of the first women in the UK to do so in a case of drug-facilitated marital rape.
Zoe Watts Co-Founds EndEyeCheck
Together with Amanda Stanhope, who survived the same form of abuse, Zoe Watts co-founded the #EndEyeCheck campaign. Its focus is drug-facilitated sexual assault and the non-consensual recording of unconscious women. The campaign reached women in twenty-two countries within days of launching. Zoe Watts now advocates for dedicated survivor support, improved police response, and wider recognition of this crime.
Zoe Watts in DWC Magazine
In this issue, Zoe Watts speaks about the signs she missed, the process of healing, and reclaiming her life. Her words have reached survivors worldwide. These men don't realise what they've done. They've created an army. And we're not standing down. DWC Magazine is proud to give Zoe Watts the platform her story deserves.
