A magazine built on
real stories

DWC — Defiant Women Conversations — is an independent global magazine founded in May 2024 by Camille Lefebvre and Mike Devlin, published by Defiant Women's Resources Ltd, London.

Our Mission

Strong women, strong voices. We exist to put real women — authors, founders, creatives, and everyday defiant voices — on covers, in print, and in front of a global readership that legacy media overlooks. Every feature we publish is a permanent, findable record of a woman's work. We are reader-supported, editorially independent, and we publish every submission that meets our editorial standard.

DWC Weekly

Published every Tuesday at 6pm EST. Our flagship edition — in retail stores, hotels, on airlines from September 2026, and in airport retail from March 2027.

DWC Conversations

Published every day except Tuesdays, 6pm EST. Contributor stories — books, podcasts, personal growth, real life.

Print Milestones

100 issues · 500,000 copies · 106 countries. Airlines join the distribution network in September 2026, airport retail in March 2027.

DWC Voices App

Now available on Google Play. Read every issue of DWC Weekly and Conversations from your phone.

New — May 2026

DWC is now a cited source for Google Knowledge Panels.

Since May 2026, DWC Magazine has become the cited source for multiple Google Knowledge Panels — the summary boxes that appear at the top of search results when someone looks up a person, brand, or topic. Google selects these sources algorithmically, based on authority and trust. Being featured on dwcmagazine.com is now part of how Google understands who you are.

In plain terms: when someone Googles your name, Google may pull from our feature to describe you. That is recognition — and it compounds over time.

Our readers buy. Here is the evidence.

2–3% Industry Average Typical ecommerce store
9.4% DWC Desktop Up from 7.51% this month
11.7% DWC Mobile Up from 10.2% this month

A conversion rate is the percentage of people who land on a page and go on to buy. Most ecommerce sites convert at 2–3%. DWC's own numbers — screenshots, not projections — have run between 7.51% and 11.7% this month. Three to five times the industry average, from an audience that arrived on purpose.

Reach tells you how many people saw something. This tells you how many acted on it. When your advertisement, listing or feature sits on dwcmagazine.com, it sits in front of readers who are already in the habit of buying what we put in front of them.

What it costs
to reach them

Placing a page in front of 40,000+ retail outlets and 12,000+ hotels carries real cost. These are ours, per copy and per issue. Your rate buys a share of a distribution network already built, already printing, already selling. A number of issues are given free of charge to NGOs and charities.

Printing

£7 per copy

A single run of 5,000 copies, with distribution, costs in the region of £75,000.

Global Distribution

£10–12 per copy

Shipping to 40,000+ retail outlets and 12,000+ hotels worldwide.

Formatting & Typesetting

£500 per issue

Every feature is professionally laid out, proofed, and prepared for both digital and print editions — each with its own formatting.

Platform & Technology

£50 per issue

Website hosting, the DWC Voices app, e-commerce, and the systems that keep every issue live and readable worldwide.

Contributor Promotion

£500+ per fair

International book fairs, printed collaterals, and social campaigns that promote our contributors worldwide.

A single advertiser funds a fraction of this. That is the point — the network is already running, and your rate buys a place in it rather than the cost of building one.

Best For Leads 4 Clients At A Time
£1,200 Introductory — covers 3 months DWC Lead Engine Advertising that hands you the names.

Most advertising ends at the impression. This ends with a list of people who asked to hear from you.

We build you a free offer — checklist, guide, calculator or audit, whichever fits what you sell — and host it on dwcmagazine.com.

A full page in one DWC Weekly print edition, and a website ad in every issue of DWC Weekly Digital for three months, both driving readers to that page.

Two follow-on offers are written into the page and the delivery emails, so readers who want more have somewhere to go. Copy, build and technical set-up are handled entirely by us.

Every lead captured is sent to you weekly, with consent to contact recorded at sign-up.

What you do with those leads is yours to decide. We capture the name and pass it to you with consent recorded; we cannot be responsible for how, how quickly, or whether you follow up, or for the manner in which you do so.

How do you know it works? Go and look at dwcmagazine.com. The notifications moving in the corner of the screen are live and verified by FOMO: sales as they happen, and readers signing up to our free offers as they happen. That is this same system, pointed at our own products. We built it for ourselves before we sold it to anyone.

The £1,200 covers the build, both placements and weekly lead delivery for three months. It continues at £395 per month afterwards, and you can stop at any point. Four clients at a time. Payment plans carry a handling charge of 15% over two months or 20% over three, paid through the same product page.

Payment plans available: £690 × 2 months, or £480 × 3 months.

We do not sell guaranteed lead volumes, and we would be careful of anyone who does. We guarantee this: if your page captures no leads at all in the first three months, we refund everything you have paid, in full.
Purchase, then send your business name, what you sell, and your website to hello@dwcmagazine.com. We reply within one working day and your page goes live within 14 days.

Free Editorial
Free Editorial submission Community Story Feature Personal story · pitches · interviews · charities & NGOs

Personal story, pitch, or press release, minimum 500 words. Copyright stays with you. We welcome interview requests — tell us if you would prefer to be interviewed rather than write. Men and women equally welcome; submissions meeting editorial standard are published.

Due to the volume of submissions we receive, we reply only to those we intend to publish. If you have heard from us within two weeks, your article is going forward.

Once you have a date, check dwcmagazine.com on the day, find your feature and share it. To get the most from it, use our guide at dwcmagazine.com/pages/dwc-cover-checklist.

Send your pitch, press release, or article with a short bio and photo to hello@dwcmagazine.com. Tell us if you would prefer an interview.

Before you book

How quickly will I be published?

All accepted submissions go live within 8 weeks of receipt. You'll receive written confirmation of your date.

Can I get a refund?

Payments for print, advertising and listings are final. Fees fund printing, distribution and platform costs the moment they are received. One exception applies: the DWC Lead Engine carries a written guarantee — if your page captures no leads at all in the first three months, we refund everything you have paid, in full.

What happens if I miss my materials deadline?

Your slot is forfeited. If photos, articles, or artwork are not received by the deadline we confirm with you, there is no extension and no refund.

Who owns my content after publication?

You do. Copyright stays with you at all times.

Can men be featured?

Yes. Men and women are equally welcome across our features and directories.

Can I choose my publication date?

Dates are first come, first served. Editorial dates are confirmed once your materials are received; advertising dates are confirmed on purchase.

Do I receive a print copy?

Advertisers taking the full back cover receive one print copy. Additional copies can be purchased via the distribution page.

Will my issue be available in retail outlets?

If there is enough proof of demand, yes. As of July 2026, your issue qualifies for retail distribution once it reaches 1,000 print copies sold or borrowed. To qualify for extended distribution — hotels and airlines — it needs to reach 3,000 copies.

Ready to be part of
something defiant?

Placements are limited by issue and the Lead Engine runs four clients at a time. Whether you have a story, a book, a podcast, or a business — there is a place for you in DWC. All accepted submissions go live within 8 weeks of receipt.
