Julie Hayes grew up wild on horseback in the Australian bush , where the rhythms of nature taught her to listen deeply and see clearly beneath the surface. She always knew she would teach. At 15, she founded her first riding school, intuitively drawn to children struggling with self- worth. With her husband David, she went on to create Australia’s most awarded school for at-risk youth – thirty years of studying minds, decoding emotion and igniting growth through challenge , art and connection. Now an award winning sculptor working in wire and resin, she lives rurally, remaining deeply rooted , a teacher in soul and spirit.
