Business Health Check Michelle Wollaston
DWC Business Health Check — prepared for Michelle Wollaston, Syzygy
Your next 90 days at Syzygy
You have a Google Knowledge Panel, a DWC cover story read more than 49 million times, a podcast with a loyal female audience in Soul Loom, a She’s the Boss ambassador role, and buyers who find you through the people who know you. The work ahead is giving all of it one clear message, and putting your time where your buyers already are.
You spend 10 or more hours a week on social media, and your last three buyers came through a friend and through networking. Your time on social media is ready to work harder, and your strongest sales channel is the room you are standing in.
Where you are now
- One product: the Life Direction Report at $97.
- Around $119 in sales over the past 30 days.
- Buyers pay through a Stripe link, leave their details and receive their report by email.
- Your last three buyers were midlife women: one received the report as a gift from a friend, and two came through networking.
- 10 or more hours a week on social media.
- An email list of between 100 and 1,000 people.
- Your goal for the next 90 days: consistent messaging.
One message, everywhere
Consistent messaging is the right goal. Across the web today, a woman searching your name meets a Life Directionist, a diagnostician, the founder of Living with Purpose and Intention, a consciousness and transformation advocate, an intuitive psychic, a tarot and oracle reader, an astrologer and the business Syzygy. Each description was true at the time you wrote it. Together they ask her to work out which one you are.
Your message from here:
Michelle Wollaston, Life Directionist for established women and founders. Syzygy is the name of your business.
It matches your website, your LinkedIn and your Beam in Business listing, and it speaks directly to capable women at a turning point in their life or work. Your book, your moon-phase writing and your astrology episodes stay part of your story, sitting behind a message about direction and decisions.
Where to update it
- Instagram bio: currently “Author, Founder of Living with Purpose and Intention”.
- Brainz Magazine and Awakened Magazine contributor bios: ask each editor to update them to your new description.
- Everand and your book listings: update the author description.
- YouTube: the handle @spiritualmentoring becomes your name.
- Pinterest: the profile Spiritualembrace becomes your name.
- Facebook: see the next section.
Your billboards at Heathrow begin in March 2027. By then, every place a traveller might search your name tells the same story.
One Facebook page
You have two Facebook pages, one as an author and one as a Life Directionist, and Syzygy appears on neither. Choose the Life Directionist page and grow that one.
- Show “Michelle Wollaston, Life Directionist | Syzygy” in the page intro and on the cover image, so the name matches your website and LinkedIn.
- Keep the author page, and pin a post there inviting your readers to follow the Life Directionist page.
- Link your website to the Life Directionist page.
Your buyers are in the room
Networking brought you two of your last three buyers. Every event and every She’s the Boss gathering is a room of women who match your message.
Your event on 14 October
Your Central Coast event at Linton Gardens brings up to 50 women together for a conversation about this stage of life. Prepare for it as a sales moment as well as a conversation:
- A printed QR code on each table, linking to your Clarity Assessment.
- An attendee offer on the Life Direction Report, valid for seven days after the event.
- A follow-up email to everyone who takes the assessment, sent the next morning.
She’s the Boss
Bring the same QR code to every lunch and coffee catch-up. When someone asks what you do, your answer is your one message, followed by an invitation to take the assessment.
Turn your assessments into your list
Your Clarity Assessment and Where Is The Noise? are original, and built on what only you know. They are the right lead magnets. Right now, a woman can take either one and leave, and her name stays unknown to you.
Add an email step before the full result. She sees a short preview of her result, enters her name and email, and receives the full result in her inbox. Every woman who takes an assessment then joins your list, and your follow-up email can invite her to order her Life Direction Report.
Grow your email list
Your assessments bring new women to your list every week. Keep some of your best material for subscribers only, such as first access to new Soul Loom episodes and short reflections written for the season of life they are in. When women know the best of you arrives by email, they sign up and stay.
A next step after the report
Today, a buyer receives her report by email and the relationship ends there. Add an invitation to your delivery email: a one-to-one follow-up session to talk through her report and decide what comes next. Set its price and show it in the email with a link to book.
A woman who has just read her report is at her most ready to go further.
Make your website bring in clients
Your website already opens with a clear promise, strong proof and two free assessments. These changes help more visitors take the next step.
- Show your price. Add $97 beside every “Get Your Report” button, so the women who click already know the investment.
- Offer one report. A separate Life Direction Session page still appears in search results beside the report. Redirect it to the report, or retire it.
- Close your staging page. Your Soul Loom guest page appears in search at a temporary Squarespace address. Move it onto michellewollaston.com.
- Source every number. “1,200+ women guided” and “96% client clarity rate” sit above a section titled “Proof, not self-proclaimed reach”. Add where each figure comes from, or keep only the figures you can source, so your proof section stays fully verifiable.
- Lead with results-based testimonials. Place testimonials from founders and professionals first, each naming what became clear, and move the ones praising a reading further down.
- Point to the right Facebook page. Your footer links to your personal profile. Link it to your Life Directionist page.
Social media
- Post one or two times a week on your Life Directionist page and Instagram, then spend the rest of your social media time bringing women to them through Stories, groups and your networking contacts.
- Always post to Facebook and Instagram separately. Cross-posting can glitch and publish the same post twice.
- Link Instagram to your Facebook page in Meta Business Suite, so all your messages arrive in one inbox.
- Keep links out of your captions and comments. Use ManyChat on Facebook and Instagram instead: “Comment CLARITY and I’ll send you the assessment.” ManyChat sends the link straight to her messages, where a conversation can begin.
- Reels are always 9:16. Photos are square or 4:5, resized in Canva.
- Each platform has its own audience. Adjust the wording, length and opening line of each post to suit the women on it.
- Reels keep reaching new people for longer than single posts. Stories build familiarity, so the women who see you often feel they know you before they order.
- Share clips from Soul Loom as Reels. Each one introduces your voice to women who have yet to find the podcast.
Your first 10 days
- Write your one message and your short bio, and save them where you can copy them quickly.
- Update your Instagram bio, YouTube handle and Pinterest profile.
- Update your Life Directionist Facebook page with Syzygy, and pin the post on your author page.
- Email Brainz and Awakened with your new bio, and update Everand.
- Add the email step to your Clarity Assessment.
- Add the email step to Where Is The Noise?
- Add your price beside every report button and redirect the Session page.
- Set up ManyChat with the keyword CLARITY on Facebook and Instagram.
- Prepare your event QR code, attendee offer and next-morning follow-up email.
- Add the follow-up session invitation to your report delivery email.
Next step: Meta ads
Once your assessments are collecting emails, learn Meta ads. Ads on Facebook and Instagram start from a few dollars a day, and you choose your budget, so you can test with a small amount and spend more only when something works. An ad inviting established women to take your Clarity Assessment grows your list while you focus on your clients.
Start with our free checklist, which walks you through everything to set up before you spend anything.
