Defiant Women's Resources App — Last updated June 2026
Published by Defiant Women's Resources Ltd (Company No. 16925908), 128 City Road, London EC1V 2NX. This policy explains what information the Defiant Women's Resources app collects and how it is used.
What we collect
The app stores reader reactions, points earned through engagement, and votes cast in features such as the Content Creator Awards. This data is stored in Firebase Realtime Database, hosted by Google, in the Europe West region.
If you upload an image — for example, to the DWC Community platform — it is stored via Cloudinary, a third-party image hosting service.
We do not collect your name, email address, or location through the app unless you choose to provide it directly, such as when submitting a comment, nomination, or report.
What we don't do
The app carries no advertising and uses no third-party tracking or analytics SDKs. We do not sell or share data with advertisers.
Keeping the app safe
Anyone can report content or another user that they believe is inappropriate or in breach of our community standards, using the "Report a Concern" button found alongside this policy. Reports are sent directly to our editorial team by email and are not stored or shared with any third party.
We aim to review and act on reports of objectionable content or abusive user behaviour within 24 hours. Action may include removing content, removing a user's ability to post, or — where appropriate — blocking that user from the platform.
Offline storage
The app caches pages on your device so content loads when you're offline. This cached data stays on your device and is not transmitted anywhere.
Children's privacy
Defiant Women's Resources is not directed at children and is not intended for users under 16.
Your rights
You can request deletion of any data linked to your activity by contacting us. As most data is anonymous (reactions, points), there is rarely a personal identifier to remove, but we will act on any specific request.

Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
Report a Concern
Tell us what you've seen and we'll look into it. Reports go straight to our editorial team and we aim to act within 24 hours.
